2016 Assembly election manifesto

Wales needs to provide better health and care services for older people - that's the message from Age Cymru for candidates and political parties ahead of the May 5 Assembly elections.
We've launched our 2016 Assembly election manifesto today and in it we're calling on the next Welsh Government to make treating older people with compassion and respect a national priority.
There needs to be more joint working between the NHS and social services to provide seamless care for people between hospital and their homes.
Improvements also need to be made to the way that care services are managed so that carers have enough time to provide the care that their clients need.
We want action to make Wales a hostile place for scammers, who do immense financial and emotional damage to their victims and a stronger commitment to tackling poverty amongst older people.
Finally, we're calling on the next Welsh Government to provide sufficient and safe public and community transport.
