Welsh Soprano Gwawr Edwards is going to be headlining Age Cymru's festive fundraising Spread the Warmth concert.
She will be topping the bill at the concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff on Thursday 29 November.
Says Gwawr:
"Winter can be a difficult and lonely time for many older people and I'm so glad to be supporting Age Cymru with its Spread the Warmth campaign.
"Spread the Warmth aims to prevent suffering among older people during the bleak winter months by providing older people across Wales with practical help and support.
"This is why I am looking forward to supporting and raising funds for Spread the Warmth by headlining this concert for Age Cymru on 29 November."
The Morriston Orpheus Choir and the Howell's School Choir will also be performing at the Spread the Warmth concert which Arfon Haines Davies is hosting.
Age Cymru's Director of Income Resources Richard Nicholls says:
"We've got an excellent line-up for our first ever Spread the Warmth concert and Age Cymru is proud to have such major talents as the Morriston Orpheus Choir, the wonderful Howells School Choir and internationally-renowned soprano Gwawr Edwards as our headliner.
"Spread the Warmth is a key Age Cymru campaign and money that we raise from this concert will help us to make winter a better time of year for those who may otherwise have nowhere else to turn.
"We're very grateful to Arfon Haines Davies and everyone who has agreed to take part in this concert and support the Spread the Warmth campaign.
"The concert itself will feature festive and classic songs and there will be something for everyone to enjoy".
Age Cymru's Spread the Warmth concert takes place at the Royal College of Music & Drama at 7.00pm on Thursday November 29.
