Unwanted Christmas gifts

Age Cymru is encouraging people to hold gift-swapping parties with those unwanted Christmas gifts as part of our Spread the Warmth campaign this winter.
Holding a gift-swapping party is easy and fun - just invite your friends over and ask them each to give £5 to go to Age Cymru and you could even rewrap Christmas gifts to recreate that Christmas morning feeling.
If you need support in organising an event our Community Fundraising Manager Nia Butler will be more than happy to help.
Alternatively you could donate your unwanted gifts direct to one of our charity shops.
Have you had a post-Christmas clearout and found out you've now got two copies of that new best-of double CD by the Manic Street Preachers?
Perhaps someone gave you a new jumper and you don't need that one you bought last year?
Or maybe you received a Christmas gift this year that isn't quite to your taste?
Age Cymru's Director of Fundraising Richard Nicholls says:
"We've probably all had a good clear-out over the last week or so, or are maybe thinking of having one.
"Rather than have those unwanted gifts or items that you no longer need cluttering up your home, why not hold a gift-swapping party or donate them to Age Cymru?
"Any money you raise, or gifts or goods you donate will be gratefully received and will be used to help our work supporting disadvantaged older people across Wales.
"If you've got any items you would like to donate to us, please take them along to your nearest Age Cymru shop, Age Cymru Enterprises Limited office or you can also drop them off at the Age Cymru offices."
