Well done to our runners

Well done and a very warm thanks to everyone who ran the Cardiff Half-Marathon for Age Cymru yesterday.
31 people put on their running shoes and completed the race for Age Cymru, including our colleagues Richard Nicholls, Josie Bunting, Catrin-Sian Williams, Danielle Reason and Nia Butler.
So far, the runners have raised almost £4,300, but that figure is expected to top £5,000 once all the sponsorship money has been collected.
Nia Butler, Age Cymru's Individual Fundraising Manager says:
"What a fantastic day and what a fantastic gang of dedicated people who turned out to fundraise for Age Cymru.
"We're expecting to have raised over £5,000 once all the money is received and counted - a fantastic effort.
"This was the first time Age Cymru has had a team of runners taking part in an event like this and it was truly inspiring to meet everyone who turned out for us on the day.
"I did have a low point around the six mile mark, but the crowds were amazing and seeing all the other runners with Age Cymru vests really helped to spur me along and get me through.
"The Age Cymru cheering station at the Woodville pub was also fabulous and helped give me boost to finish the last mile with a smile on my face."
